Since vBulletin actually does not seem to have a builtin way to restrict moderator permissions per usergroup (instead of user), I had to disable supermod promotions :mad:

Note: the certain moderators get to stay mod.

Because vBulletin actually doesn't let me do that.
There's just "group is supermod" and "group isn't supermod".
You can restrict moderation permissions by user, but not by group, for some reason.
